I started my tax career as a national accountant with the tax authorities. After that I switched to Coopers & Lybrand, one of PwC’s forerunners. Within PwC, I specialised in corporate income tax compliance. As director, I was in charge of PwC’s international tax compliance practice in Amsterdam for 15 years.
After that, I worked for several years at PwC’s filing practice in Utrecht. From that position, I maintained contact with the educational field. I was a member of the professional field committee of the Hogeschool van Amsterdam (HES) and regularly gave a number of lectures in the field of tax compliance and tax accounting.
I am currently affiliated with the University of Amsterdam (UvA) at the Faculty of Economics & Business Administration for the corporate income tax and thesis courses and work as a consultant to the firm at HVK Stevens.
