We have advised the Dutch investment vehicle of Lorax Capital Partners on its strategic investment in MDP (Management Dynamics Plus), a leading business process outsourcing (BPO) provider headquartered in Egypt.
The transaction marks a new chapter for MDP, enabling the company to accelerate its regional growth strategy and further position itself as a key enabler of payment systems across Africa and the Middle East.
Lorax led the investment round, which also saw participation from prominent international development finance institutions including the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the International Finance Corporation (IFC), and Proparco. Their involvement underscores the strong international confidence in MDP’s role within the regional digital economy.
HVK Stevens supported Lorax throughout the investment process, providing integrated legal and tax advice on the structuring and execution of the transaction. Our deal team consisted of Joost van den Berg, Willem Gerbers and Timothy van Veen.
