Sandra Singh

As a Senior Tax Manager at HVK Stevens, Sandra advises Netherlands and foreign (listed) companies on corporate and international tax law matters. Her areas of expertise include reorganisations, financial restructurings and mergers and acquisitions. She also has specialist expertise in advising companies active in the energy transition space (e.g. windparks). Sandra is a frequent speaker at Masterclasses on EU corporate tax developments attended by diplomats and CEOs and is regularly requested by Dutch governmental agencies to assist foreign multinationals when expanding their business to the Netherlands. Sandra’s expertise in international investment structures and energy transition has also been acknowledged by Legal 500 EMEA 2022.

Work highlights

– Advised and led the Dutch tax and legal team on the USD 1.2 billion sale of Gelnex Group, the leading global producer of collagen products with 17 production facilities in multiple countries to Darling Ingredients Inc. (NYSE:DAR).

– Advised the largest onshore windpark in the Netherlands on its Dutch tax position, issued a tax opinion for the bank syndicate to have its funds released and is actively involved post Project Completion.

– Advised a leading Dutch fund regulated by the AFM on setting up a new investment structure for residential property in the US Sun Belt States.

– Sandra is member of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers (NOB), the International Fiscal Association (IFA) and American Chamber of Commerce (Amcham)
